| Paul Fioroni played four years of junior hockey while attending Olds College before deciding to turn pro with the Lake Charles Ice Pirates of the WPHL. He served as an alternate captain for 6 years and team captain for 2 years. Although Fioroni is infamous as a big penalty guy on the ice, his off-ice benevolence has attracted attention as well. While playing with the Cotton Kings, through the Mac-A-Roni fund and the 24 Foundation, Fioroni raised tens of thousands of dollars for the Make a Wish Foundation and for local families and children in need. For this, Fioroni was awarded the CHL Man of the Year in two consecutive years and is the only player ever to receive this award twice. Fioroni is employed by Interim Healthcare and is pursuing his business degree at Wayland Baptist University. He resides in Lubbock, Texas with his wife Tiffany and daughter, Kyleigh. |
